Mary Marg Helgenberger born 16 November 1958, is an American actor from the United States. She first appeared in the 1980s. From 1982 to 1986, she starred as Siobhan Ryan on the cult morning show Ryan's Hope. The most famous role she has played has been Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural police drama. Crime Scene Investigation (2000-13) and then the follow-up TV movie Immortality (2015). Vegas 2022 to the present) was the second sequel to the film in which she reprised her role. Helgenberger is also famous for her role as K.C. Koloski as a character on ABC's drama China Beach (1988-91) earned Helgenberger an Emmy Award 1990 for Outstanding actor in Drama Series. Her Columbia University Bachelors of Art History degree was obtained in 2007. In 2017, she was a part of The View's daily talk show The View where she co-hosted until 2021. She received 4 Daytime Emmy award nominations for her efforts. McCain was also a Daily Mail journalist after her three-year stint as a reporter on The View. McCain authored four other books including Dad John McCain (2008), My Dad John McCain (2008), Dirty Sexy Politics (2010), America You Sexy Bitch A Love-Letter To Freedom in 2012, along with Michael Ian Black and Bad Republican 2022.
