Ina-Garten

Ina Garden is a famous American cookbook author who has received Emmy awards. She is the host of the longest-running Food Network program, Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. It is scheduled to air for 27 more seasons. Ina was employed for the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policies and also the budget. Although she initially found it interesting, she soon became bored. So she purchased a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. After 18 years of making her store a huge success, she sold it, and then began writing her first book. Many other cookbooks and magazine columns came later. In the meantime, her Food Network television show too was launched and quickly became a hit. Ina sells a variety of items, from the ingredients needed for food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina, who is self-taught and has not attended the culinary institute or at a hotel. She is well-known for her easy way of entertaining and easy cooking. Some of her most popular recipes include Skillet with Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Mac, Beef Bourguignon and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake as well as Lemon Bars.
