Zoe-perry
Perry is the daughter of actor Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. She made her first appearances in television shows in the role of Jackie Harris, a character played by her mother in the ABC comedy Roseanne. However, her parents were not keen to let her perform until she turned an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry confessed that she wasn't comfortable acting in high school. She began acting to connect with new people in Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. Perry had the opportunity to secure minor TV roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent when she finished her degree. However, her homesickness caused her to move to California and she returned to work in the stage. In 2013, she was a part of The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. The show was directed by Eugene O'Neill. Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie as well as Kevin McKidd. This was performed in the West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Perry appeared in 9 episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. Her father played her on her role on the ABC drama Scandal. That same year she portrayed a child version of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory), portraying her mother in a younger version. The character was chosen by auditions, even though she had a close association with it.
