Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in 1962. She is a well-known American actor. Sheedy first made an appearance as an actress on Bad Boys in 1983. Since then, she has appeared in WarGames as of 1985. Then, she appeared on The Breakfast Club in 1986, and Short Circuit in 1986. Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead in her character in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy's is both an American writer and actress. The early 1980s were when she started her career as a film actress with the thriller Bad Boys. She was well-received for this film. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. After her debut film was released in 1985, she starred in the comedy and drama The Breakfast Club. The film was written and directed by John Hughes is considered one among the most memorable high school films ever made. Even though the budget was $1 million, its profits surpassed 50 million dollars. In the meantime, she was also being featured in various shows on TV including CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. Since April, 1980, the show was an adolescent-oriented show. The actress also appeared in other shows on TV, including Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances of Sheedy include Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie that tells the story of a hero, in which Sheedy appears as a guest. Sheedy has won many awards in 2005 due to her performance. She also was honored by the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
